DIY Plastic Bottle Flowers

These plastic bottle flowers are a cute way to recycle water bottles. It is such a simple way to keep kids entertained and crafting when they are stuck in the house or a rainy afternoon. Kids can make these flowers to decorate outside, the walls or create simple easy spring decorations.

What Bottles are Best For These Flowers?

I use whatever water bottles we have on hand. My girls love to collect water bottles, so these plastic bottle flowers are one way to get the girls happy to get rid of their bottles. They love making these easy flowers and hanging them outside.

How do You Cut Plastic Flowers?

After you have cut the water bottle into 2, cut down towards the bottom, but not all the way to the bottom. This creates the petals. I like to cut the petals on about the same size, so I like to use the indents along the bottom to judge where to cut
