Easy Painted Paper Bunny Using Toilet Paper Rolls
Easter and Spring is such a great time of year. Everything is coming back to life. My daughter’s favorite holiday is Easter, not Christmas or Halloween, but Easter. So when we were stuck at home with nothing to do, we decided we would use some recycled toilet paper rolls to make an easy painted paper bunny.
What Kind of Paint Is Best for this Painted Paper Bunny
These painted paper bunnies can be made with any type of paint. We used acrylic paint because it is what we have on hand and I like the way it covers. Kids can use finger paint or other kid style paint.
How to Display this Paper Easter Bunny
There are 2 ways that we are displaying our Paper Easter Bunny. Willow is hanging her whole paper on the wall. This can be done by hanging the paper on the wall or by framing the picture with a dollar store frame.
Serenity chose to cut her paper bunnies out. She is hanging her on the wall so that there are a lot of bunnies around her room.

How to a Painted Paper Bunny
You will need 2 toilet paper rolls. One for the ears and one for the head.
Using the toilet paper roll, press the tops of the roll in together to form the top of the ear.
Place a small amount of paint into a piece of paper or cardboard.
Using the roll for the head, dip the end into the paint and then press it onto the paper. This will create the head of the bunny.
Next, use the one made for the ear and dip it into the paint. When pressing it against the head make sure the ear touches the head and the bent end is away from the head.
Repeat on the other side of the head for the other ear.
Repeat for as many bunnies as you want.
Draw the Bunny Faces.
Either decorate the page with bunnies and eggs or color the bunnies in with markers or paint and cut them out to hang on the wall.
